Tendercut's Website

Type of Work: Website Design & Development (Class Project)

Project Title: Tendercut’s Website

Client Name: Tendercut (Simulated Client)

Completion Date: February 2025

My Role: Solo Developer

Method:
The project began with a business research assignment to learn about small businesses in Brandon. I selected Tendercut and gathered information about their services, customer needs, and online presence. This research helped shape the site structure and features needed.

Process:
After the research, I designed a custom WordPress theme tailored to Tendercut’s brand and service offerings. I also developed a custom plugin that fetches and displays the live weather, useful for their local customers. The entire site was built with HTML, CSS, PHP, and WordPress functions.

Solution:
The final deliverable was a fully responsive, fast-loading, and easy-to-manage WordPress site. The custom theme reflected the business identity, and the weather plugin added local relevance. The site provided Tendercut with a professional web presence to reach more customers and improve credibility.

Let’s Work Together!

Currently, I’m looking for a practicum placement where I can contribute my skills while gaining valuable industry experience.
